Summer Reading 2026: Unearth a Story™
Our 2026 Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story™, was an incredible success! Throughout the summer, readers of all ages explored books, attended exciting programs, completed challenges, and discovered that every story is an adventure waiting to be uncovered.
Inspired by the fascinating worlds of dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology, this year's theme encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Families dug into great books, children unearthed new interests, teens discovered fresh adventures, and adults explored stories that transported them through time and imagination.
From hands-on activities and engaging performers to crafts, games, and community events, our library was filled with laughter, learning, and memorable moments all summer long. Most importantly, our community came together to celebrate the joy of reading and the power of discovering something new.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported Summer Reading 2026. Your enthusiasm made this one of our most memorable summers yet!
