Our Mission
​The mission of the Westmoreland Public Library of Sumner County Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is to empower teens to help shape library services, programs, and collections. TAB members provide valuable input on teen interests and needs, promote library services within the community, and help create a welcoming space for young people to learn, connect, and grow.
Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Member Responsibilities
TAB members are expected to:

Attend quarterly meetings and special events

Participate in planning, promoting, and supporting teen programs

Share ideas and feedback about library services and collections

Promote library events and opportunities to friends and classmates
-
Work collaboratively with fellow TAB members and library staff
-
Serve as ambassadors for the Westmoreland Public Library of Sumner County within the community
Qualifications
Applicants must:
-
Be between the ages of 14 and 18 and enrolled in high school
-
Commit to serving a one-year term on the Teen Advisory Board
-
Be willing to attend quarterly meetings and participate in activities
-
Enjoy working as part of a team

Have an interest in helping improve library services for teens

Complete a Teen Advisory Board application and return it to the library in person or by email.
